A main server sits at the heart of the site. It holds the configuration, talks to the cameras and runs the alarm rules. Recorders sit out where the cameras are and write footage to their own disks. Operators connect from workstations anywhere on the network. If you want AI, a separate analytics server connects to the main server and takes the cameras you assign it.

We issue evaluation licences for a specific site and a specific deployment: the camera count you actually want to test, for a period that suits the project, with whatever features the evaluation needs turned on. You can watch up to 81 cameras on a single screen, across as many monitors as the workstation has. Recording capacity grows by adding recorders. Each one handles its own cameras and its own disks, and a camera can record to two of them at once, so a failure never costs you footage. Your licence sets the total camera count, and adding more later doesn't mean re-buying what you already have.

What each machine needs depends on how many cameras it is actually responsible for, which is a different number for the server, the recorders and the workstations. Most of them. Major camera manufacturers are supported natively, with their own features rather than a lowest common denominator, and the open standard nearly every other camera speaks covers the rest. Beyond cameras we talk to network speakers, input and output modules for gates, barriers and sensors, and intruder alarm panels with full zone and partition control. And the list is not fixed: if you have a device we do not yet speak to, send us the hardware or the manufacturer's documentation and we will integrate it. That is how most of the list got there.

Yes, and this one needs a specific camera: people counting works with Axis VAPIX cameras running their counting application, because the counting happens on the camera itself. Given those, Zoryaq keeps a live figure for each area you define, adding up the ways in and taking off the ways out. You mark each counter as an entrance, an exit or both, so a doorway that only ever sees people arriving cannot quietly wind the number down. Put the figure on a layout, a monitor or the video wall, watch arrivals and departures on a live graph, and raise an alarm when an area goes above or below a number you set. Counts reset on whatever daily schedule suits the site, and the hourly and daily history exports to a spreadsheet.

If a recorder goes down, another one covers its cameras and hands them back when it returns. The footage from either side of the outage plays back as one continuous timeline. The main server itself can run with a standby that stays continuously up to date and takes over if the primary is lost, and your operators are told what happened rather than left guessing.

Footage is encrypted on disk and digitally signed, so if anyone alters a recording it can be proven, and the check runs on any machine, not just yours. Traffic between the server and workstations is encrypted, passwords are properly hashed with automatic lockout after repeated failures, and every login and operator action is recorded centrally.

Each site runs its own main server today, so it keeps recording and raising alarms whether or not head office can reach it. Pooling several of those sites into a single control-room view, with cameras, alarms and footage from every location in one place, is in development.
